Daniel J. Kennedy,aged 23 years, of 134 Jean St., Belle Vernon,died Friday morning, Sept.12,1941,in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital,at 7:10 o'clock,from injuries received in an auto accident. He was born January 29,1918 in Monongahela. He was the son of Daniel M. Kennedy and Jane Kyle Kennedy. He was educated in the Belle Vernon Schools,California State Teacher's College and received his M.A. degree from the University of Maryland in August, 1940. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon and was associated with the California State Teacher's College chorus. He is survived by his parents,Mr.and Mrs. Daniel M.Kennedy,and a step-brother,Lyle Sinsley,of New York. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late home at 134 Jean Street,North Belle Vernon,in charge of Rev.Edwin G.Sloan,with interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
