Obituary

Daniel Baker,aged 43 years,died Tuesday evening,December 2,1924 at 9:30 o'clock at the home of his mother,in Belle Vernon,after a lingering illness.  He was a son of the late Rev. Perrin Baker,and was a life long resident of Belle Vernon,where he was well known and highly esteemed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife,one son and two daughters.  His mother,Mrs. Perrin Baker,one sister,Miss Sara F. Baker,a teacher in the Monessen public schools,four brothers,Dr. Theodore Baker and Dr. Joseph Baker,both of Pittsburgh,William T. of Detue, Illinois,and Robert Baker,at home, also survive.  Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon from the home of the deceased's mother at two o'clock. Rev. Stanley H. Jewell,pastor of the Presbyterian Church,will be in charge. He will be assisted by Rev. Madtes,of the Baptist Church and Rev. Headlee of the M.E.Church.  Interment will be made in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
