Daniel Carpenter of Donora died Saturday;Aug.22;1987;at Mercy Hospital;Pittsburgh. he was born in Birmingham;Ala.;a son of the late Roy and Rosetta Carpenter. Prior to his medical disability;he had worked at National Tubes. He was a member of First Baptist Church;Donora. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a daughter; Taquaia Carpenter; in 1980; and a
brother; Robert Carpenter; in 1985.
Survivors include seven sons;
Daniel W. Jr. of San Diego; Daniel L.
of Monessen; Darexl; Gregory and
Tony; all of Detroit; Mich.; and Dennis and Brent;both of Donora; four
daughters; Darlene Green Kilgore of
Detroit; Tina and Deanna of
Monessen; and Tashia of Donora;
three sisters; Ida Johnson and Viola
Rawlins of Eldora and Arwilda
Mathis of Monessen; and two
brothers; William of Donora and
Cleophas of Detroit.
Friends will be received at the
Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home;
608 Sixth St.; Monessen; tuesday from 7
to .9 p.m. and Wednesday at First Baptist Church;541 Allen Ave.;Donora;from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the church on Thursday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Larry Merriweather Woods officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Beverly
