Daniel Abraham Troup,aged 78 years,of Belle Vernon,R.D.2,Route 71,died Monday,March 12 at 8:10 p.m. at his home. The deceased was born July 28,1877 in Pennsylvania. Surviving are four sons,Paul,Russell,Edward and Raymond,all of West Newton;a daughter,Ella Mae,of West Newton;six brothers,John,Harry,Finley,Clarence,Clyde and Edward,of West Newton;and two sisters,Mrs. Maude Baer,of Apollo and Mrs. Arada Swank,of West Newton. Eleven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also survive. Friends are being received at the late home where funeral services will be held Thursday,March 15,at 2 p.m. Rev. E.S. Weldman,of the Free Methodist Church in Charleroi will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L. Melenyzer and Shelby D. Ferguson,Belle Vernon,funeral directors.
