Dale Lynn; 76; of Belle Vernon; passed away at his home on Nov. 14; 2011; with his family by his side. Dale was born on Jan. 3; 1935; to the late Eli and Alfaretta Lynn; of Belle Vernon. In addition to his parents; Dale had been preceded in death by five brothers; Emerson; Richard; Robert; Owen; and his twin; Don; and four sisters; May; Clara; Lela and Sarah. Dale was a retired carpenter of 32 years with Valley Home Improvement. He is survived by two brothers; Glenn Lynn; of Ruffsdale and Harold Lynn; of North Carolina; his loving wife of 46 years; Carol; four children; Dale Jr.; of Perryopolis; James; of Dawson; June Johnson; of Fairhope and Kevin and wife; Kim; of Smithton. Dale is also survived by three stepdaughters; Carol Langford and husband; Keith; of Perryopolis; Roberta Strelecki and husband Neno; of Allenport and Cheryl Thompson; of Belle Vernon; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the L.L. BARTHELS FUNERAL HOME INC.; Second St.; Smithton. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery; Belle Vernon.
