Dale Franklin McCreary,48,went to be with the Lord after a short illness on Tuesday,Dec. 14,1999,at 5:15 p.m. in the Mercy Health System,Pittsburgh. He was a lifelong resident of Arnold City. He was born May 19,1951,in North Charleroi. He was employed by Monco Products Inc.,and was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was Catholic by faith. He is the son of his loving mother, Bernice Gohosky McCreary Santavicca,who survives, and the late Earl Franklin McCreary,and the late Isador Santavicca. He is survived by his loving wife,Debra Cecil McCreary,with whom he celebrated 25 years of marriage on Jan. 19,1999. He is also survived by his loving and adoring daughters, Dana McCreary Encapera and her husband,Tony,and his first granddaughter, Sage Antonin,and also daughters, Dienna McCreary Berklovich and husband,Mark,and Denette McCreay, at home; He is also survived by his loving sister,Earlene McCreary Kalakewich,three brothers, Earl McCreary,Barry McCreary and Arnold Santavicca,all of Belle Vernon,who will miss him and love him forever. He will be lovingly missed by his mother-in-law,Eileen Cecil Alvarez and his late father-in-law,Fred Cecil. Survivors also include several nieces and nephews,and the rest of the family and friends who loved him. Friends will be received in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc.,Main St.,Fayette City,on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 11 a.m.,the hour of services,with the Rev. David Means officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
