Obituary

Dale F. Williams, 82, of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township), died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at 1:40 p.m. at his home. Born Sept. 12, 1927, in North Charleroi, he was the son of the late Desire and Bertha Lambermont Williams. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 61 years, Mr. Williams was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church, Monessen, was a retired steel worker from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport Plant, was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Navy, member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659, Belle Vernon Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 209 and the Charleroi VFW. He is survived by his wife, Betty Story Williams, to whom he was married 61 years, granddaughter Dana Monticelli and husband Dan of Belle Vernon, and two great-grandchildren, Caden and Weston Monticelli. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Sharan Kinney, an infant son, Robert A. Williams and son Dale P. Williams, grandson Dale Christopher Williams, and a brother, Edgar Williams. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayer Service will be held Friday at 11:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Funeral Mass at noon at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, Monessen, with the Rev. David J. Nazimek as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
