Cyril (Cy) Brown of Pricedale;died at 3 a.m.Monday;Aug.18;1975;in Monongahela Division of Mon Valley Hospital after a lingering illness. He was 64. Mr.brown operated Brown’s Garage and Highway Wrecking Service in Pricedale for the past 22 years. He was well-known for his service in accidents on Interstate 70 as his gargae provided heavy equipment. Mr.Brown;born in Monessen;was preceded in death by his parents;Orlando Brown and Margaret Brown Milhollan. Surviving are his widow;Opal Forsythe Brown;two daughters;Mrs.Thomas (Mildred) McGowan of Newell and Mrs.Margaret (Judy) Breckenridge of Charleroi;three sons;Thomas of Huntingdon;Willard of Pittsburgh and Donald of Charleroi;one brother;Orlando Brown of Monessen;one step-brother;Thomas Milhollan of Washington;four sisters;Mrs.Evelyn Carroll of Washington;Mrs.Catherine Butler of Fayette City;Mrs.Betty Sinko of Charleroi;and Mrs.Patty Kiehl of Washington;11 grandchildren;and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;Monessen;after 7 p.m.Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Services will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Howard E.Kennedy;pastor of the First United Methodist Church;Monessen;officiating.
