Our Beautiful Angel, Cynthia L. Petros Hoosac, 68, of Belle Vernon, Washington Township, went to heaven on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, in her home with her husband by her side. Born July 21, 1957, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Misher Petros. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area, Mrs. Hoosac was a member of First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Her career started as a cosmetic manager at Thrift Drug, and she later served as a pharmacy technician at Eckerd and Rite Aid in Belle Vernon. Cynthia was known for her warm spirit and thoughtfulness. She celebrated her coworkers’ birthdays with gestures that included lottery tickets and small cakes, bringing joy to those around her. She cherished special moments spent on vacations at Disney World and Las Vegas, as well as quality time with her nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. She is survived by her husband, Frank Hoosac, to whom she was married for 44 years; sister, Candace Patterson of Fairhope; sister-in-law, Shelly Bedsworth-McManus and husband Mark of Rostraver Township; three nephews and nieces, Jonathan Patterson, Amber and Jason Andria and Bethany Bedsworth; seven great-nieces and great-nephews, Kendall, Jeremy, Avery, Alivia, Zoey, Madison and Gionna; and several cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, William Patterson. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. with Pastor Sandy Fitzgibbons officiating at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-9296183.
