Curtis E.Bloomer;61;of Belle Vernon R.D.3;died Saturday;May 19;1990;in Jefferson Hospital. He was born in Insull;Ky.;April 17;1929;a son of the late Hillard and Emma Rowe Bloomer. Mr.Bloomer was a member of the Charleroi Baptist Church. He had been a resident of Belle Vernon since 1968;formerly of Cincinatti;Ohio. He was employed as a manager for Philips Lighting Company;Meadowlands. He is survived by his wife;Dorothy Whittle Bloomer;a daughter;Dianne Bloomer;at home;a son and daughter-in-law;Curtis E.and Connie Bloomer Jr.of Bealeton;Va.;his mother-in-law;Vina Whittle of Charleroi;a brother;Addison Bloomer of Milford;Ohio;two sisters;Myrtle Alice Ellis of Mason;Ohio and Ruth Martin of Pompano Beach;Fla.;and two grandchildren;Amanda and Megan Bloomer. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will beheld in the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Steve Crumpler of Charleroi Baptist Church and the Rev.Patrick Colladay of the First Baptist Church of Harrisburg;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
