Coy Osborne,aged 72 years,21 Grand street,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday morning,May 25,1954,at 6 o'clock at his late home. A resident of Belle Vernon for 30 years,the deceased has worked for the same length of time at the local Page Division of the American Chain and Cable Co. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Osborne;four daughters,Mrs. Rose Callahan,of Youngstown,Ohio,Mattie Osborne,of New York City,Mabel Osborne,at home,and Mrs. Bessie Woods,of Pittsburgh;six sons,Wayman and Samuel,of Belle Vernon,Lonnie of Pittsburgh,Herman,at home,S-Sgt.Walter,with the U.S.Army,stationed in Alaska,and M-Sgt.Dwight,with the U.S. A.F.,stationed at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss.;19 grandchildren;five great-grandchildren;and a sister, Mrs. Meada Osborne,of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the late home after 1 p.m. Thursday,May 27. Funeral services will be held Friday,May 28,at 11 a.m. at the Speers A.M.E. Church,with Rev. L. Owens,pastor of the church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
