Cortez Wilcox of 446 Clarendon Ave.;Monessen;died Friday;Aug.15;1980. He was 57. Mr.Wilcox was a son of the late Robert W.Wilcox and Mrs.Leila Barkley of North Charleroi;who survives. A veteran of World War II;he was a member of the Joseph H.Ford Post 691;American Legion;Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;and Monessen Elks Lodge 691;all of Monessen. Survivors;in addition to his mother;include four sons;Cortez Wilcox Jr.and Nathaniel Wilcox;both of Pittsburgh and Randy and Eric Wilcox;four daughters;Mrs.Celeste James of Pittsburgh;Mrs.Larry (Alyce) Aldrich of Monessen and Carolyn and Cathy Carson;two brothers;Walter Wilcox of Monessen and Stephen Barkley of Carroll twp.;one sister;Mrs.Samuel (Anna Mae) Carson of North Charleroi and Mrs.Mollie Tiller and family. Friends will be recieved in the Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home;608 Sixth St.;Monessen;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday and Sunday. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.at Mt.Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev.griffin Mason;pastor;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
