Mrs. Cora L.Acton,aged 80 years,died Friday morning,March 6,1953 at 1:40 a.m.at the home of her daughter,Mrs.George Munro,401 Johnson avenue,Pricedale. The deceased was a member of St.Paul's Lutheran Church of Monessen. Surviving along with Mrs.Munro is another daughter,Mrs.Elizabeth Reese,also of Pricedale;two brothers,Lynn Fleming and William Fleming,both of Pricedale;two sisters,Mrs.C.E.Harbaugh of Monessen,and Mrs.E.J.Staple of Pricedale;two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home. Services will be held there Monday,March 9,1953,at 2:30 p.m.,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rev.Alva A.Jordan of St.Paul's Lutheran Church of Monessen will be in charge,and will be assisted by Rev.J.Nelson Jackaway,of the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church. Chas.L.Melenyzer and Shelby D.Ferguson are the funeral directors.
