Cora Peters Partington,75,of 115 Breakneck Ave.,Connellsville,died at 1:11 p.m.,Friday,June 5,1992,in Highlands Hospital,Connellsville.Mrs. Partington was born Nov. 15,1916,in Elizabeth,a daughter of the late Daniel and Florence Kirkland Peters. She had been a resident of the Connellsville community for the past 30 years. Mrs. Partington wAs a member of the Greenwood Methodist Church,Connellsville;the Scottdale Art Club;the Norvelt Ladies Golf League;and the Linden Hall Ladies Golf League. Surviving are her husband,Ernest J. Partington;one daughter,Mrs. Howard (Gay) Terry,of New York City,N.Y.;one sister,Mrs. George (Nellie) Galster,in Texas; a grandson,Travis Terry,and a granddaughter,Zoe Terry,both of New York City,N.Y. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home,with the Rev. Allen Ricketts,pastor,Greenwood Methodist Church,Connellsville,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
