Concetta DeRienzo, 90,of 116 Second Street,Fayette City,died Friday, July 14,1978 at 8:27 p.m. in the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Italy Oct. 21,1888,she was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church of Fayette City. She was preceded in death by her husband,Philip,in 1941,and a son,Patsy,who was killed in World War II serving with the U.S.Army in 1945. Survivors include three sons, Marion of Fayette City,Philip of Donora,and Dr. Umberto of Charleroi R.D.;14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Philip L. DeRienzo Funeral Home,Inc. after 7 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m to 9 p.m. on Sunday. A Blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Holy Spirit Catholic Church,Fayette City,with the Rev. Thomas Rinn as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
