Obituary

Columbus (Chris) DeAngelis of 18 Stanton Drive,Monessen,died Wednesday,March 17,1976 at 10:10 a.m.in Presbyterian University Hospital,Pittsburgh. Mr.DeAngelis,48,had been ill the past six months. His birthdate was July 31,1927. He had worked in the BOF electric department at the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Mr.DeAngelis was a member of St.Cajetan Catholic Church,Monessen. Surviving are his widow,Mildred Sudor DeAngelis,one daughter,Donna Marie,both at home,four sisters,Mrs.Philip (Elizabeth) Minniti and Mrs.Virginia Oliver,both of Monessen,Mrs.Alphonse (Lucy) Carbone of Melvindale,Mich.,and Mrs.Teresa Tomovchik of Webster,and two brothers,Murino DeAngelis of Belle Vernon and Geno DeAngelis of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Robert A.Billick Funeral Home,Inc.,Monessen,from 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Saturday at 9 a.m.,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.in St.Cajetan Catholic Church,Monessen,with the Rev.P.Lino Ramellini,pastor,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Robert A.Billick is funeral director in charge.
