Columbus (Chris) DeAngelis of 18 Stanton Drive;Monessen;died Wednesday;March 17;1976 at 10:10 a.m.in Presbyterian University Hospital;Pittsburgh. Mr.DeAngelis;48;had been ill the past six months. His birthdate was July 31;1927. He had worked in the BOF electric department at the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Mr.DeAngelis was a member of St.Cajetan Catholic Church;Monessen. Surviving are his widow;Mildred Sudor DeAngelis;one daughter;Donna Marie;both at home;four sisters;Mrs.Philip (Elizabeth) Minniti and Mrs.Virginia Oliver;both of Monessen;Mrs.Alphonse (Lucy) Carbone of Melvindale;Mich.;and Mrs.Teresa Tomovchik of Webster;and two brothers;Murino DeAngelis of Belle Vernon and Geno DeAngelis of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Robert A.Billick Funeral Home;Inc.;Monessen;from 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Saturday at 9 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.in St.Cajetan Catholic Church;Monessen;with the Rev.P.Lino Ramellini;pastor;officiating.
