Clyde R.Green;69;of Iron City Hill;Belle Vernon R.D.1;died Saturday;June 10;1972;at 8 a.m.at his home. He was born in Wickhaven;July 4;1902. He was a member of the Smithton Rod and Gun Club and Star Junction Rod and Gun Club. He retired five years ago from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel’s Monessen Works where he was employed in the Coke Plant. Surviving are his widow;Mildred Popp Green;two sons;Clyde W.of Monessen and William R.of Belle Vernon R.D.1;one daughter;Mrs.Thomas (Doris) Benicky of Belle Vernon R.D.1;five grandchildren;one brother;James Green of Charleroi;three sisters;Mrs.Howard (Viola) Harrison of Belle Vernon R.D.;Mrs.Samuel (Dorothy) Lori of Clarksburg;W.Va.;and Mrs.Lawrence (Emma) Morris of Monongahela. Friends are being received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral home;Monessen;where a service will be held Tuesday;June 13;at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Maybelle Johnson officiating.
