Clyde E Barber; Jr.; 82 of Lowber; Fayette City; PA; passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday; march 3; 2012 with his loving family at his side.
He was born March 18; 1929 in Adah; PA; a son of the late Clyde E Barber Sr. and Mary Catherine Cook Barber. Clyde served in the US Army Airborne;Screaming Eagles; during the Korean War. He was a member of the Little Redstone Presbyterian Church and served as a church Deacon. Clyde retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport Plant in 1992. He was a member of Brightwell-Daugherty Post 484; American Legion; Fayette City;Pa.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years; Amy Bronson Barber; son; Larry Barber and wife Kathy of Perryopolis; daughter; Carol Barber of South Park; daughter Connie Skibo and husband Bob of Fayette City; grandchildren; Tracy Frye & husband Jim;Rhonda Hatheway & husband Don; Larry Barber & wife Cara; Christopher Barber; Amy Birkhimer & Chris; Sarah Petro & husband Scott; Clint Skibo; 8 great-grandchildren; Travis & Kate Frye; Chelsea; Donnie; Morgan; Veronica and Reagan Hatheway and Nina Bowser.
