Obituary

Clyde E Barber, Jr., 82 of Lowber, Fayette City, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, march 3, 2012 with his loving family at his side. He was born March 18, 1929 in Adah, PA, a son of the late Clyde E Barber Sr. and Mary Catherine Cook Barber. Clyde served in the US Army Airborne,Screaming Eagles, during the Korean War. He was a member of the Little Redstone Presbyterian Church and served as a church Deacon. Clyde retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport Plant in 1992. He was a member of Brightwell-Daugherty Post 484, American Legion, Fayette City,Pa. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Amy Bronson Barber, son, Larry Barber and wife Kathy of Perryopolis, daughter, Carol Barber of South Park, daughter Connie Skibo and husband Bob of Fayette City, grandchildren, Tracy Frye & husband Jim,Rhonda Hatheway & husband Don, Larry Barber & wife Cara, Christopher Barber, Amy Birkhimer & Chris, Sarah Petro & husband Scott, Clint Skibo, 8 great-grandchildren, Travis & Kate Frye, Chelsea, Donnie, Morgan, Veronica and Reagan Hatheway and Nina Bowser. Friends will be received Tuesday, March 06, 2012 2-4 & 6-9 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St.,Fayette City, PA.(724)-326-5621,www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Rev. Michael Shepard officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, Pa.
