Clinton Herbert Manown, aged 45 years, a life long resident of this locality died Wednesday night,September 4,1935 at 12 o'clock at his home on the West Newton road in Rostraver township, after a lingering illness. For the past fifteen years he has been engaged in the dairy business. In his youth he was a star on the old Star and Page athletic teams. Surviving are his wife, Ida Lerminaux, and eleven children, William Joseph, George Curtis, Martin Griffith, Rebecca Marie, Augusta Naomi, Clinton Randall, Jack Herbert, Martha Louise, Adele Kathleen, Francis Laurent and Kirby Paul, all at home. Funeral services are announced for Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home in charge of Rev. John C. Myer. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
