Cleo Valdiserri; 95; of Sun City West; Ariz.; formerly of North Belle Vernon; died Friday; Jan. 11; 2008; at 10:15 p.m. in Del E. Webb Memorial Hospital in Arizona. Born May 30; 1912; in Belle Vernon; he was the son of the late John and Maggie Meacci Valdiserri. A current resident of Sun City West; Mr. Valdiserri was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. He was a retired steward from Nemacolin County Club; a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II; a life member of the North Belle Vernon Fire Department and Belle Vernon American Legion Post No. 659. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law; Carl and Virginia Valdiserri; of Northville; Mich.; and Wayne and Linda Valdiserri; of Sun City West; one sister; Eleanor Negalman; of Pekin; Ill.; two grandsons; Douglas and Vincent Valdiserri; both of Belle Vernon; and four great-grandchildren; Tiffany; Eric; Derick and Josh Valdiserri. He was preceded in death by his wife; Lillian Piere Valdiserri; on June 8; 2000; and one brother; Leo Valdiserri. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; family owned and operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). Services will be held Thursday; Jan. 17; at 10 a.m. in the funeral home; followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
