Obituary
Clem Carter,69,who made his home with cousins, Mr. and MRs. James Scates, in Eldora,died Saturday, April 14,1962 at 5:45 .m. in Brownsville Hospital. He was born in Chatam,Va.,on Jan. 1,1893 and had lived in the Eldora vicinity the past 36 years. A retired coal miner, he was a member of United Mine Workers Local Union 7107. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Annie Brown of Fellsburg;three brothers, Wade Carter of Wolfe, W.Va.,Jessie Carter of Long Island,N.Y. and Joseph Carter of Chatham, Va. Friends will be received at the Percy Law Funeral Home,Donora.
