Clarence W.Campbell;86;of 13 Monessen Blvd.;Monessen;died Thursday;Oct.6;1988;at 6 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Sept.21;1902;in Pricedale;he was the son of the late Timothy and Eva Smith Campbell. Mr.Campbell had been a watchman at Page Division of American Chain and Cable Company in Monessen prior to his retirement in 1967. He was a member of St.Paul’s Lutheran Church;Monessen. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Agnes Anderson Campbell;in 1987;three brothers and two sisters. Surviving are one daughter;Mrs.Anna Mae (Winnie) Winstone;with whom he made his home;two sons;Clarence Jr.(Skinny) and Julian W.(Chip);both of Monessen;19 grandchildren;13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren;and one sister;Mrs.Victor (Margaret) Scheeler of Beaver Falls. Friends will be received on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen. Services will be held Monday at 9 a.m.in St.Paul’s Lutheran Church;Monessen;with the Rev.Ronald Schlak officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Rhome Funeral Home.
