Obituary

Clarence W.Campbell,86,of 13 Monessen Blvd.,Monessen,died Thursday,Oct.6,1988,at 6 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Sept.21,1902,in Pricedale,he was the son of the late Timothy and Eva Smith Campbell. Mr.Campbell had been a watchman at Page Division of American Chain and Cable Company in Monessen prior to his retirement in 1967. He was a member of St.Paul's Lutheran Church,Monessen. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife,Agnes Anderson Campbell,in 1987,three brothers and two sisters. Surviving are one daughter,Mrs.Anna Mae (Winnie) Winstone,with whom he made his home,two sons,Clarence Jr.(Skinny) and Julian W.(Chip),both of Monessen,19 grandchildren,13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren,and one sister,Mrs.Victor (Margaret) Scheeler of Beaver Falls. Friends will be received on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen. Services will be held Monday at 9 a.m.in St.Paul's Lutheran Church,Monessen,with the Rev.Ronald Schlak officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Rhome Funeral Home.
