Obituary

Clarence V.Neil,51,Speer street,Belle Vernon,died Monday,November 13,1944,at 8:45 in the Veterans Hospital at Aspinwall following an illness of five weeks. He was a member of the 319th Inf.,80th Division in World War One and served overseas. Surviving are his wife,Mrs.Harriet Neil,a daughter,Gladys Rihaly,Belle Vernon,a son,Technical Sergeant James Neil serving in Italy,two brothers,Earl of Belle Vernon,and Harry of Bristolville,Ohio,three sisters,Mrs.Cora Mills,Belle Vernon,Mrs.Lorena Godissart,Belle Vernon,and Mrs.Margaret Acre,Smithport,Pa. Three grandchildren also survive. Friends are being received at the late home where funeral services will be held Thursday,November 16,1944,at 2:30 p.m.with Rev.Percy Mundy,of Altoona,officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director,in charge.
