Obituary

Clarence McCullough Sr.,59,of 1036 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,was dead on arrival at 11:45 p.m.Sunday,July 31,1966,at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mr.McCullough,who was employed 44 years at the Monessen plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co.,was a member of United Steelworkers of America Local 1229,Monessen. Surviving are his widow,Helen Marie (Walkush) McCullough,seven children,William F.of Monessen,Clarence Jr.of Canonsburg,Mrs.James (Helen) Salisbury of Irwin,George T.at home,Specialist Fourth Class Robert D.with the United States Army in the Panama Canal Zone,Mrs.Wallace (Linda) Romanski of Charleroi R.D.1,Mrs.George (Barbara) Moorehead of Port Royal,S.C.,four brothers,Harry (Skeetz) of Belle Vernon,Irwin and Bert of Lynnwood,Bill of Donora,two sisters,Mrs.Naomi Keller in the state of California and Mrs.Irma Weaver of North Charleroi. Friends are being received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Service there Wednesday,Aug.3 at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Martin Longenecker,pastor of Charleroi's First Methodist Church,officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
