Obituary

Clarence E. Hill,90,of 1067 Morgan Ave.,Monessen,died Wednesday,June 21,1967,at 4:45 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital.  Born in Massey's Mill, Va.,April 12,1877,he had been in Monessen over 60 years. Mr. Hill was retired from the sintering plant of the Monessen Works of Pittsburgh Steel Co.  He was a member of Wayman A.M.E. Church, Monessen,where he served as a steward. Surviving are two sons, Clarence William Hill of Suffern, N.Y. and Lowranzel Hill of Monessen; several nieces and nephews including Mrs. Catherne Murray of Pittsburgh and fifteen grandchildren. Friends wil be received at the Percy Law Jr. Funeral Home,Donora,after 7 p.m. June 22 and until noon June 23. The body will then be taken to Wayman AME Church in Monessen to lie in state there until service at 11 a.m. Saturday,June 24. The Rev. R.A. Latimer,pastor,will officiate.  Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Percy Law Jr. is the funeral director.
