Born in Washington Twp.on Dec.31;1898;he was a son of the late George B.and Lydia Guiler Hoffman. Mr.Hoffman was a retired coal miner and a member of Harmony Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his widow;Bessie Hoffman;three sons;Clarence Jr.;David and Ray;and three daughters;Mrs.Ann Novak;Mrs.Mae Williams;and Mrs.Virginia Andrako;all of Belle Vernon R.D.3;a brother;George W.of Belle Vernon R.D.2;two sisters;Mrs.Mary Stopford and Mrs.Vera Schmidt of Belle Vernon;17 grandchildren. Friends will be received at James C.Stump Funeral Home;Sweency Plan;Belle Vernon R.D.2;after 7 p.m.;Feb.2.
