Clara R. Rocchino; 92; formerly of North Belle Vernon; passed away Wednesday; May 12; 2010; in Kane Scott Regional Center; Scott Township. A daughter of the late Benedetto and Maria Giacoma Duronio; she was born in Monessen on June 28; 1917. Clara was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; the church choir and the former C.D. of A.; all of Belle Vernon; the National Hairdressers Association; and had been a guest instructor and stylist at the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. She was the owner and operator of the former Clara’s Hair Fashion Salon; of Belle Vernon; until her retirement in 1999. A resident of Bridgeville since 2002; she had formerly resided in Belle Vernon since 1951. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law; Cheryl and Richard Giuliano; of Upper St. Clair; and Janice and John Butitta; of Rockford; Ill.; four grandchildren; Monica Kasten and her husband; Richard; of Bridgeville; Ryan Giuliano; of Annapolis; Md.; Erin Vidales and her husband; Michael of Chicago; and Joshua Luce and his wife; Noell; of Lake Mills; Wis.;; and two great-grandchildren; Parker R. Kasten and Emma S. Luce. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Joseph E. Rocchino; on Sept. 18; 1999; two sisters; Mary Vivio and Jay D’Astolfo; and two brothers; Joseph and John Duronio.
