Mrs. Clara Anderson of 1168 Schoonmaker Ave.,Monessen,died Thursday Oct. 29,1965 at 2:25 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a long illness. Born in 1901in Athens,Ga.,Mrs. Anderson had resided in Monessen since 1944. She was a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,Monessen,and president of the Nurses Board of the church and a member of Elite Temple 428 IRPOE of W. and of One Iron City Council of Pittsburgh. Surviving are her husband,Ernest Sr.;three sons, Norris Lee of Atlanta, Ga.,Ernest and Emanuel of Monessen and a sister, Mrs. Isabelle Dooley of Atlanta. Friends are being received at the beverly Draper Funeral Home,monessen. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 3,at 11 a.m. from Mount Calvary Baptist Church,Monessen with the Rev. E. Archie officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly Draper,funeral director.
