Mrs.Clara Jane Rowley;aged 75 years;wife of Harry Rowley;died at the family home No.3 Graham Street;Belle Vernon at 6:45 p.m.;Wednesday;November 27;1940. She had been ill over a long period. Mrs. Rowley had resided in Belle Vernon ever since she and her husband set up housekeeping there forty-nine years ago. She was an active member of the First Christian church. Surviving besides her husband are two daughters;Gertrude at home and Mrs.Homer Whetzel of Ford City;one brother;William Worrell;of Hazelhurst;PA.;and one sister;Mrs.Catherine Martin;of Belle Vernon;two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Remains are at the home where services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock by the Rev.James Rainey;pastor of First Christian church. Interment will follow in Gibsonton cemetery.
