Clara E. Green,87,of 121 Vernon Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday, April 18,1995,at 12:30 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Township. Born May 28,1907,in Green Township,Indiana County, she was a daughter of the late Alfred Long and Mary Elizabeth Bash. Mrs. Green was a member of Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene. Formerly of Brownsville,she had lived in the Belle Vernon area for over 60 years. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, George N. Green, on Sept. 17,1994; a daughter, Judith Boulanger in 1969; a granddaughter, Beth Ann Boulanger in 1969 and a grandson,Gerry Jackson,Nov. 5,1994. Survivors include two sons,Eugene R. Green of Belle Vernon and Paul L. Green of Bridgeville; three daughters, Mary E. Jackson of Charleroi,Margaret Burr of Anchorage, Alaska and Beverly Glover of Belle Vernon; 15 grandchildren,19 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Charles Kohr of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
