Clara Clegg, 76, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 11, 2015. A daughter of the late Louis and Julie Pollack Stricek, she was born in West Newton on Oct. 2, 1938. Clara spent her entire adult life in Belle Vernon, worked as a home health care assistant until she retired, and was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. She was active at the Center On The Hill and enjoyed playing the piano. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Jill Clegg of Belle Vernon; one daughter, Jennifer Clegg and fiancé, Justin Wilkinson, of Belle Vernon; six grandchildren, Jaelynn, Tyler, Noah, Luke, and Aiden Clegg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Clegg in 2013; two brothers, Joseph Stricek and Otto Stricek; and three sisters, Margaret Harrison, Gezella Fedorka and Helen Gallenton.
