Mrs. Clara Christian,aged 84 years,413 Seneca street,died Thursday evening,November 25,1954 at 11:50 o'clock,at 330 Third street,where she had been staying during her illness. A life-long resident of Monessen,the deceased had been a member of the Union Baptist Church here for the past 33 years. Surivivng is a daughter, Margaret Williams of Pittsburgh; a brother,Ross Hill of Greensburg and a sister, Anna Hill of Greensburg. Friends will be received at the Carter Funeral Home,McMahon avenue,after 4 p.m.,Nov. 27,where visiting hours will be from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday,Nov. 29,at 11 a.m. from the Union Baptist Church with Rev. Boyd Hinton officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. DuBoise H. Carter,funeral director.
