Clara A. Tonarelli of Dunlevy died Tuesday,Dec. 26,1978 at 9:12 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. She was 77. Born June 20,1901 in Elkhorn, Pa..she was the daughter of the late Quinto and Amelia Traversari. She was a resident of Dunlevy for the past 75 years. She was a member of the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church of Charleroi and its Ladies Altar Society. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Garibaldi Lodge of Dunlevy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferdinand Tonarelli,in 1937. She is survived by three sons, Albert Q. Tonarelli of Charleroi,Leonard F. Tonarelli of Dunlevy,and Ferdinand A. Tonarelli of Belle Vernon;three brothers, Ramo Traversari of Monongahela,Leo Traversari of Monessen and Edmund Traversari of Dunelvy; two sisters,Bruna Innocenti of Elmwood Park,N.J.,Saverina Traversari of Dunlevy and eight grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church,Charleroi,with Father John J. Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rosary will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
