Mrs. Cisley Mallabone,wife of the late John Mallabone,passed way at her home,137 Fallowfield Avenue,Friday afternoon,March 8,1935,at 3:20 o'clock,after a lingering illness. Born in Lancashire,England,she came to America in 1882 and settled at West Elizabeth,Pa. In 1897 she came to Charleroi and has made her home there since that time. Mrs.Mallabone has been a devout member of St.Mary's Episcopal Church since livng in Charleroi and has a host of friends who will mourn her passing. She is survived by six children,one son,John Mallabone,Jr.,of Washington,Pa,and five daughters,Mrs.Lily Smith,Mrs.Sarah Gabriel and Mrs.Margaret Shane,of Pittsburgh,and Mrs.Alice Bechtel and Mrs. Iva Lindholm of Charleroi. There also survive ten grandchildren,one of whom is Mrs.Betty Lamson,of Pittsburgh,who before her marriage made her home with her grandmother. Funeral services will be held at the late residence,137 Fallowfield avenue,Monday afternoon,March 11,at 2:30 o'clock,with the Rev.Bernard C.Newman,rector of St.Mary's Church,offficiating. Freinds of the family are invited to attend.
