Mrs. Christina Lewis, age 77 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Barbara Zundel, Belle Vernon, R. D. 2, Monday,February 12, 1945, at 1:05 a. m., after an illness of ten months. She was a member of the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church and mother of the late Dr. George W. Lewis of Belle Vernon. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Zundel, of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Gertrude Beatty of Front Royal, Virginia, two brothers, George Hepple of Lynnwood and Thomas Heppel of Pricedale, two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Round and Mrs. Thomas Clayton of Alliance, Ohio, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home. Services will be held there Thursday,February 15,1945,at 2:30 p.m.,in charge of Rev. Crawford M.Coulter. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
