Charlotta F.Ferren;formerly of Allenport;died at Covina Villa;Covina;Calif.on Thursday;Oct.17;1985;at 10:25 p.m. She was 91. Mrs.Ferren waw born Oct.12;1894;in Belle Vernon;a daughter of the late Newton and Miranda Anderson Reeves. She was a member of the Allenport United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star;Monessen. A graduate of California State Teachers College;Mrs.Ferren was a former school teacher. She was also a former postmistress in Allenport. Mrs.Ferren left Allenport Oct.1;1981;to go to California. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Frank Ferren;in 1953. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters. Survivors include a son and a daughter;Frank E.Ferren and Mrs.John (Virginia) Piribek;both of Covina;Calif.;sx grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Patricia Bower of the Allenport United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
