died suddenly at 9 p.m.
Wednesday;Jan.11;1978; in Charleroi
Division of Mon Valley
Hospital. He was 53.
Born in Fairhope on Oct. 31;
1924; he was a son of the late
George T. and Elizabeth
Anderson Peters. He was a
lifelong resident of the Belle
Vernon area.
Mr. Peters belonged to the
Marion Presbyterian Church.
He was employed by the
Monessen-South Western
Railroad at the Wheeling-
Pittsburgh Steel Corp. and
was a veteran of service with
the U.S. Air Force during
World War II.
Surviving are his widow;
Carolyn (Betty) Grazzini
Peters; three sons; Charles W.
Peters Jr. and David A.
Peters; both of Belle Vernon;
and Donald R. Peters of
Milford; Conn.; two brothers;
George T. Peters and Robert
Peters; both of Belle Vernon;
one sister; Mrs. Charles
(Ida May) Holet of Monessen;
and four grandchildren.
Friends will be received at
the Shelby D. Ferguson
Funeral Home; Belle Vernon;
from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Robert H.R.Loughborough Jr.of the Marion Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director in charge.
