Charles W. Regula,83,of Charleroi,died Tuesday,Dec. 16,1997,at his home. Mr. Regula was born in Monessen on Dec. 9,1914,the son of Charles and Mary (Tomayko) Regula. A member of Mary,Mother of the Church of Charleroi,he was a retired foreman of Corning Glass and a member of the company'a Athletic Association and Retirees. He is survived by his wife,Marie (Burry) Regula;three daughters,Mary Beth Wilkins of California,Karen Janus of Pittsburgh and Sally D'Allesandro of New Jersey;one brother,Edward Regula of Belle Vernon;two sisters,Pauline Connors and Charlotte Regula,both of Charleroi,and five grandchildren,Stephanie Wilkins,Shannon Wilkins,Michael Janus,Michelle Janus and John D'Allesandro. He is preceded in death by two sisters,Emilia Cross and Mary Mayerchak. Friends will be received on Friday from noon to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Leonard Pavlic Funeral Home Inc.,235 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m in Mary,Mother of the Church,Charleroi,followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Leonard M.Pavlic Funeral Homes Inc.,Charleroi.
