Obituary

Charles W.Illinsky of 319 Reed Ave.,Monessen,died Wednesday,Sept.28,1983,at 2:39 p.m.in the Mon Valley Hospital. He was 66. Mr. Illisky was born Jan.9,1917,in Monessen,a son of the late Frank and Sophie Evancho Illinsky. A lifelong resident of Monessen,he was retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,Monessen plant. Mr.Illinsky was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II,having served in Africa and Italy. In addition of his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife,Margaret Ashley Pezzelle Illinsky,June 5,1977. Survivors include two sons,Bruce Pezzelle of Monessen and Gordon D.Pezzelle of Belle Vernon,one daughter,Mrs.Lois M.Prosser of Monessen,one brother,John Illinsky of Monessen,11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon where services will be held Saturday,Oct.1,at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Kenneth Neiderhiser,pastor of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
