Obituary

Charles Ursits,79, of 433 Bluff St., Belle Vernon,died in Brownsville General Hospital Sunday,July 18,1965 at 8:05 a.m. Mr. Ursits was a United Mine worker, retiring in 1954. He was a member of the Vorwaerts Beneficial Society of Roscoe. Born at Bower Hill, Pa., Nov. 4, 1885, he had lived in Belle Vernon since 1907,coming to Belle Vernon from Brownsville. Surviving are his widow, Rose, a son Rawland,and a daughter,Mrs. Reno (Clara) Sichi,both of Belle Vernon,one brother, John of Monongahela, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. July 19,at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home in Belle Vernon. Service there Wednesday,July 21,at 1:30 p.m.in charge of the Rev.Charles Colas,pastor of the First Baptist Church,Belle Vernon. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
