Charles Thomas Elliott,aged 87,formerly of 27 Main street,Belle Vernon,died Wednesday morning,April 4,1956 at 7:45 o'clock in McKeesport. A resident of Belle Vernon for 40 years,the deceased was born in Union Township. He was a manufacturer of blinds from 1923 to 1948. He was a member of Belle Vernon F.&A.M. No. 643,and Shrine of Pittsburgh. Three daughters,Mrs. Edwin Eason,of Baltimore,Mrs.F.C. Childress,of Salt Lake City,Utah and Mrs. Milton Frable,Jr.,of Pleasant Hills;two brothers,Joseph of Colorado and Robert,of Erie;a sister,Jennie Elliott of Charleroi;six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren survive. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad avenue,Belle Vernon,beginning April 5,at 1 p.m. Masonic services will be held April 5 at 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday,April 6,at 2 p.m. from the funeral home. Rev. George Clarke,pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Belle Vernon will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L. Melenyzer and Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral directors.
