Charles Sumner Lynn, 88, of Lynnwood, Belle Vernon, R. D. 3, died at his home, Thursday,May 22, 1952, at 4:20 a. m., after a lingering illness. He was born February 22, 1864, and was a retired farmer. He was president and director of the First National Bank of Belle Vernon until his retirement, and had been a member of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon for the past sixty-eight years. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. V. L. Everett and Mrs. Clyde D. Boyd of Lynnwood. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home. Services will be held there Monday,May 26,1952,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev. James C. Puz,assisted by Rev. George Kress. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas. L. Melenyzer is the funeral director.
