Charles Novosel,aged 71 years,Fayette City,R.D.1,Fairhope,died Monday,Sept. 6,1954,at 1:15 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. The deceased was a member of St. Edward's R.C. Church,Fayette City,the Ukrainian Lodge,also of Fayette City,and Cresent Local,U.M.W.of A.,California. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Novosel; two step-sons,James Pozum and Nick Pozum,both of Fayette City,R.D.1 and a step-daughter, Mrs. Anna Shelleby of Pittsburgh. Friends are being received at the McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where brief funeral services will be held Wednesday,Sept. 8,1954,at 9 a.m. Additional services will follow from St. Edward's R.C.Church at 9:30 o'clock,with Requiem High Mass in charge of Rev. C.W. Ribick. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M. McCrory & Son,funeral directors.
