Obituary

Charles Radek,70,of Pricedale,died Friday,Dec.10,1982,at 7:15 a.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital. Mr.Radek was born Sept.27,1912,in Molinar,Pa.,a son of the late Matthew and Wilhermina Radek. A resident of Pricedale since 1932,he was Protestant by faith. Mr.Radek served with the U.S.Army from 1928-1932. He was a retired employee of the United Mine Workers and was a former employee of Lincoln Homes,Elizabeth. Survivors include his widow,Margaret Corbett Radek,four sons,Charles Frederick and Harry Vincent,both of Carson,Calif.,Marvin Paul of Hawaiian Gardens,Calif.and Carl Henry of West Newton,one brother,Herman of Cleveland,three sisters,Mrs.Hazel Long and Mrs.Amelia Bodnar,both of Monessen,and Mrs. Martha Page of Jamestown,N.Y.,11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home,with the Rev.Walter Kirkland and the Rev.Eugene Spear of the Char-Belle Free Methodist Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
