Obituary

Charles M.Emerick,49,of Third St.,Monessen,died Monday,June 4,1973,at 7:30 a.m.at the Veterans Administration Hospital,Pittsburgh. Born Dec.30,1924,in Washington Twp.,Fayette Co.,he was a son of Luetta Biles Emerick of Suffield,Ohio,and the late Albert Emerick. A veteran of World War II,having served in the U.S.Army,Mr.Emerick was employed as a plasterer. Survivors include,in addition to his mother,his widow,Jean Koschalk emerick,four sons,David,Paul,Charles and Duane,all at home,one daughter,Debbie at home,eight brothers,Theodore of Fayette City R.D.,Orie of Morrisville,Pa.,Duane of Midland,Pa.,Albert Aaron of Monessen,Sheridan of Monongahela,John of Smithton,Gerald of Akron,Ohio,and Robert of Belle Vernon,one sister,Mrs.Alberta Palmer of Monessen. Friends will be received after 2 p.m.Tuesday at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m.with Maj.Walter W.Crouch of the Monessen Salvation Army officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
