Obituary

Charles M. Harvey, 73, of 210 Third street, Belle Vernon, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 1949, at 1:30 p. m. following a lingering illness. He was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon and a watchman at the Belle Vernon plant of the American Window Glass Co. He was a member of the Belle Vernon Methodist Church, the Order of Sons of Union Veterans, Belle Vernon Lodge 656 of the I. O. O. F., Belle Vernon Lodge 643 of the F. and A.M. ane the Macabees Lodge of Donora. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kate Harvey; four daughters, Mrs. George Osborne, Taylorstown; Mrs. Stanton Alton, Belle Vernon R. D. 1; Mrs. Charles Hale, Belle Vernon; Mrs. Alfred Dubarr, Belle Vernon: one son, Winfield S. Harvey; one brother, William R. Harvey, Belle Vernon; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Wilson, Donora and Mrs. John Coughenour, Belle Vernon and 11 grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon,were services will be held Wed.,Jan.26,at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev.C.W.Campbell,of the Methodist Church,Belle Vernon and Rev.Frank James of the Methodist Church at McKeesport,formerly of Belle Vernon.  Interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
