Charles K. Males; 91; of Monongahela; went home to be with his Lord on Monday; Feb. 24; 2014; in Washington Hospital. Born in Donora on Dec. 11; 1922; he was the son of the late Robert and Martha (Wall) Males. Charles worked for U.S. Steel in Donora and later in Cleveland where he retired. He also retired from the Belle Vernon Postal Service. A member of the former Donora Gospel Hall; he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife; Mary A. (Stanko) Males; daughters; Bonita (Joe) Anders of Monongahela and Ardith (Jim) Smith of Fort Myers; Fla.; four grandchildren; Jason (Becca) Anders; Stephen (Joy) Anders; James (Amber) Smith and Bethany Smith; five great-grandchildren; and sister; Iva Sowers of South Carolina. A private funeral service and interment will be held in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the JAMES C.
