Charles L. Melenyzer,Sr.,aged 89 years,died at the home of his daughter,Mrs. Andrew Evanhoch,Fayette Road,Belle Vernon,Sunday morning,October 15,1933,at 3:45 o'clock,after a brief illness. He was well and favorably known in this community,having resided on a farm in Washington County,Maple Creek and at Monessen for the past 45 years. He was proprietor of one of the first milk dairies in this district. Three sons and two daughters survive: Mrs. Florence Malicord,of Alliance,Ohio;Mrs. Sarah Evanhoch,of Belle Vernon;Mrs. Rose Hannen,of Canton,Ohio;George,of Fallowfield township and Charles L. of Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon,October 17th,at 2 o'clock,at the home of his daughter,Mrs. Evanhoch,with Rev. Howard T. Curtis,pastor of the Belle Vernon Presbyterian Church and Rev. M.S. Speer,pastor of the Belle Vernon Christian Church officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
