Obituary

Charles L. Klisowski Sr., 57, of 912 Brown St., Belle Vernon, died Friday,June 4,1976 at 4:30 a.m. in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Belle Vernon on April 13, 1919 and had been a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. He was a member of the St. Sebastian Catholic Church and American Legion, both of Belle Vernon, Fairhope Rod and Gun Club, P.N.A. Lodge 1146 of Monessen and Citizens Association of Pricedale. Mr. Klisowski was a former member of the North Belle Vernon Council. He retired on Dec. 31, 1974 from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Preceding him in death were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klisowski Sr., and a brother, Paul Klisowski Jr. Surviving are his widow, Mildred Swirbul Klisowski, one son, Charles L. Jr., at home, one brother, John Klisowski of Bellle Vernon,and one sister,Mrs.Lloyd (Nell) Amprim of Belle Vernon.Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home, Belle Vernon, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m. Saturday and Sunday. Parish Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Sunday at 8:30 p m. Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St Sebastian Catholic Church, Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D Ferguson is funeral director in charge.
