A Monessen resident for 25 years,Charles L. Kittle,of 2 Anderson Court,died Friday,June 22,1956,at 8:40 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. The deceased was a retired employee of the hot strip department of the Irwin Works. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ann Hanlon Kittle and a sister, Mrs. Ed Dudgeon of Belle Vernon. Friends are being received at the Check Home for Funerals, 100 Schoonmaker avenue, Monessen,from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. The family has requested that flowers be omitted and that anyone wishing to do so may make a contribution to the Westmoreland County Association for the Blind. Private funeral service will be held Monday,June 25,at 1 p.m. from the funeral home,with Rev. Abner P. Richard,Jr.,pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Monessen,officiating.
